The gala evening starts with TV host Myleene Klass and American actor Jason Cook welcoming the audience.

The Divas arrive: The stunning 116 contestants are introduced individually to the audience as they walked the ramp. The crowd is buzzing with different country names as Mongolian warriors perform live on stage.

The show starts with an audio visual presentation of all the 116 contestants praising the beautiful city and culture of Shanghai and Changsu. The post card video shows the spectacular time the contestants had in China where they witnessed China's greatest performing acts.

The ambience: As Miss world 2012 contestants gear up to impress the judges and jury, guests, former beauty queens and celebs have started pouring in at Ordos, China. Tonight, all the 116 contestants will walk the ramp with the common ambition of winning the Miss World Crown. While the ghosts of the cheating scandal are still haunting Kristen Stewart, co-star Jodie Foster has assured the her that 'the public horrors of today eventually blow away'.
The pair became close after starring together in 2002 thriller 'Panic Room', where Foster played the onscreen mother of Stewart.
'The Silence Of The Lambs' icon has penned a blog for 'The Daily Beast' expressing her concern for the 'Twilight' actress, and has told her that the drama will soon be a thing of the past, the Daily Mail reported.

Kristen Stewart refusing to talk about Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart is reportedly refusing to talk about Robert Pattinson.
The 22-year-old star, who skipped Thursday night's (16.08.12) London premiere of new movie 'On The Road', will remain in hiding until next month's Toronto Film Festival.
She will then go into full-promotional mode to sell her latest movie, but doesn't plan on doing an interview to address her cheating scandal any time soon.
A source close to the actress revealed to website RadarOnline: "Kristen has been hiding ever since the story of her affair with Rupert broke - and she doesn't plan on breaking that habit just yet.
"Unlike Rob, who faced the music and threw himself into promoting his new movie 'Cosmopolis', Kristen isn't comfortable with facing a barrage of questions about the cheating scandal.
Friend have apparently advised the 'Twilight' star to do as her ex-boyfriend has done to better her public image but Kristen is worried her fans are still angry.
The insider continued: "Her pals have urged her to follow Robert's lead and do some interviews for 'On The Road' - just to get it over and done with. The sooner she faces the music, the quicker it will all end and the media glare will fall on someone else.
"However, Kristen is scared. The backlash from her 'Twilight' fans has upset her - she's lost and doesn't know what to do.
Kristen apologized soon after news broke of her affair with 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders.
She said: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

Kristen Stewart ready to face camera again

Actress Kristen Stewart will make her first official appearance since her cheating scandal at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada next month.

The 22-year-old has been keeping a low profile since confessing to cheating on her Twilight co-star and boyfriend Robert Pattinson

with married director Rupert Sanders last month.

However she will have to face the camera once again in September as she begins promoting her latest film, On the Road.

Stewart, who portrays Marylou in the big screen adapatation of Jack Kerouac's classic novel, has been confirmed to attend the annual Toronto event alongside other casts including Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams and Garrett Hedlund, reports people.com.

Kristen Stewart dropped from Snow White sequel
Kristen Stewart, who has already lost the man she loves, faces more humiliation as it has been confirmed that she won’t feature in the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman. Universal Studio is said to have devised a spin-off film where the narrative will focus on the huntsman, played by nice family man, Chris Hemsworth.

Kristen Stewart out of own film premiere?
Actor Kristen Stewart  has reportedly cancelled her visit to the London premiere of her upcoming film, On The Road, as she is not ready to face the public, post her cheating scandal.
The 22-year-old, who was in a relationship with actor Robert Pattinson , was expected to walk the red carpet along with co-star Tom Sturridge on August 16. “Kristen won’t be doing the red carpet for On The Road. She’s too ashamed to show her face in public right now,” radaronline.com quoted a source as saying.

Asad Rauf Sexual Exploitation Case: Model Gets Threatening Calls to Withdraw Case

Mumbai-based model, Leena Kapoor, who recently filed a police complaint against Pakistani cricket umpire Asad Rauf for sexually exploiting her with false promises of marriage, has alleged that she is getting threatening calls to withdraw the case against him.

"I have received at least 12 calls from two different numbers of Mumbai and Delhi. The unknown person threatened to bump me off if I don't stop pursuing the case. The person claims to be Rauf's friend," Kapoor told Hindustan Times.

"I have told the police about a possible threat to my life. They assured me that nothing would happen," she said.
In a written complaint against Rauf, she stated that the couple shared an intimate relationship since March this year when they first met in Sri Lanka through a friend.
The 21-year-old alleged that Rauf has been sexually exploiting her for the past six months and had promised to marry her despite having a family in Pakistan. He has now refused to even acknowledge her.
She had said that they shared a husband-wife relationship and had planned to marry soon, as Rauf's religion allows him to have more than one wife.
 "I feel victimized as he used to keep nagging me to marry him. However, he suddenly stopped taking my phone calls. He even claimed he didn't know me," she told the daily.

Meanwhile, the umpire admitted to the authenticity of the photographs showing the couple  posing together in a room that appears in a hotel He has, however, denied all other allegations by the model.
"I am 56 and happily married with two kids and at my age how can I promise to marry anyone else. I don t know why she is doing this but if she continues to defame me and cause me and my family pain than I will take legal action against her," Rauf had told the Press Trust of India.
He even slammed her allegations about his promises of buying a flat and a car for her in Mumbai.
Rauf told a leading daily that "The allegations levelled by her are preposterous and she is just making this story up to gain cheap publicity and fame."
"If there is any truth in what this girl is saying, and if she has some concrete evidence, I am ready to come down to India to be questioned" he said.
